Region 5A Finals

The MultiGP Regional Series is designed to provide the drone racing community an accessible yet highly competitive format that clearly recognizes the most skilled pilots in the country,” – Chris Thomas, Founder of MultiGP.

Since the beginning of the 2017 season, thousands of MultiGP drone racing pilots have been practicing, training, and competing as we move toward the National Championships this September in Reno. With dozens of Regional Qualifiers already completed, the first of the MultiGP Regional Finals are commencing all across the nation. Each of the 14 Regions that make up the U.S. MultiGP League will hold one Regional Final; pilot spots in these Regional Finals were earned at that Region’s Qualifier events. The two top pilots at each Regional Final will automatically advance to the Fast 56 bracket of the National Championship. Pilots who place 3rd-6th in their Regional Final will receive an invitation to compete in an elimination race at the National Championships, and the top 14 will advance to the Fast 56.

Taking place this weekend is the MultiGP race chapter FPV Racing Seattle is holding the Region 5A Finals at the Columbia Park Soccer Fields in Kennewick, Washington. The Regional Final is free for spectators, and the FPV Racing Seattle encourages you to come out and see the fastest growing sport in the world firsthand. Try on a set of goggles and see what the pilots see! At this event 27 of the Region’s fastest pilots will be competing to see who will be going to the National Championships this September in Reno. These pilots have competed in multiple events during the Regional Series this year, and all have their sights set on the title of Champion. Pilots for the 5 states in Region 5A – Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming – will compete head to head in a test of their FPV drone racing skills
