GLOBAL QUALIFIER DAY! AND A DOUBLE HEADER AT THAT!
THIS WILL BE A DOUBLE HEADER EVENT!

PLEASE SIGN UP FOR BOTH EVENTS ON MULTIGP, ON KCMR'S PAGE!

If you can only make it for half of the day, KCMR will run first, starting at 11:30am. DeadlockFPV will run the afternoon heats, starting around 3pm. (subject to change)

There will be no classes at this event. ALL pilots will be competing on the same level and ALL results will be posted to the MultiGP GLOBAL Leader-board!

Standard MultiGP racing rules apply. 2min heats. Top 3 consecutive qualifying format. Qualifying heats ALL DAY. No mains.

Bring tents, tables, chairs, and anything else you need to bring to stay comfortable outdoors for 8+ hours. Power is available around the parking area. Generators are allowed. Restrooms will be in the BARN, just a short walk from the field! Spectating is FREE and is always welcomed. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to any of the KCMR officers!

Please consider committing to come early for Set-Up or plan to stay after the race for Tear-Down. Its A LOT of work and we can't do this without you guys!

This event will take place at KCMR's current home field location in Bonner Springs, KS. Out by Kansas Speedway and the LEGENDS shopping center.

634 N 126th St, Bonner Springs, KS 66012

In 2019, The Agriculture Center and Hall of Fame agreed to house our field on their beautiful 140+ acre property! This space provides plenty of amenities we have sought to provide our members including a private gate entrance and proper landscaping. Consider stopping by the museum or checking out one of their many family friendly activities!

There should be access at the northern gate this season, so drive through the pay stations for either Renfest or Azura Amphitheater. As always, you are still able to drive the "long way" through the Museum of Farming's gate. It is located in the south end of the museum parking lot. This entrance will take you through the museum's property and around to our space behind the barn and in the back. Look for the power poles! The International Lineman Rodeo has their competition ground here as well, and we will be just east of their poles. Ask any member for the code if the gate is locked.

$10 entry fee for non-members

FREE entry for KCMR members

FREE entry for SPECTATORS

KCMR memberships cost $40 per year. Benefits include free entry to all homefield races, discounts on special event entry fees, access to the practice fields, and MORE!

Race Specifications/Classes: OPEN CLASS - Maximum Frame Size: 305mm (farthest distance diagonal between motors) - Maximum Prop Size: 6inch - Maximum Weight: 800g - Maximum VTX: 25mW

Tech Inspection: We randomly require pilots to pass a quick props-off tech inspection before each race. This process will be carried out by the race director during Check-In, before the race. All pilots MUST provide their name, pilot handle, admission fees and AMA info.

Pilots who have an "Active" AMA membership, as well as pilots who compete nationally, will typically be exempt from tech inspections. These pilots should request power level or channel checks at their necessity.

Other pilots may be required to demonstrate that their drones are transmitting on the proper channel and at the correct power level. We also check pilots for proper failsafe settings. (If you turn off your transmitter during flight, your drone should turn off as well) KCMR requires pilots to remove all props during this inspection, for safety.

AMA: MultiGP requires ALL pilots to obtain an active AMA membership for insurance purposes to enter races. KCMR strongly recommends that our pilots follow suit at our home race, however, this membership is not required.

IMD6c: We require all VTXs to be Raceband and FatShark compliant. All VTX's will be required to run at 25mW. Please come prepared to change your VTX and/or the channel/band of your VTX as needed for each race. All channels will be verified during Check-In.

The frequencies used at each race are as follows:

R1 - 5658

R2 - 5695

F2 - 5760

F4 - 5800

R7 - 5880

R8 - 5917

DJI (digital) pilots should plan to fly on DJI 6 and DJI 7. Despite what MultiGP will assign you, this will be resolved during Check-In

Mission: It is our mission to welcome new fliers, teach drone safety, and hold events that invite the community to participate and/or observe the fascinating world of FPV multi-rotor racing and freestyle flying.
