KwadsRUs Racing Club’s season openers starts with the 2024 MultiGP Spring Global Qualifier. Open class (any LiPo and propeller sizes). Pilots of all ages and experience are welcome. MAAC and Basic TC RPAS certification is required.

- More than 1 drone is ideal

- Canopy tent (max 10'x10') to protect yourself from falling drones and the sun

Pilot Requirements
- If you are new to the club, please read the Pilot Safety Briefing
- Active MAAC membership is required. We will not allow pilots with expired MAAC to fly.
- A valid Transport Canada RPAS Basic or Advanced Certification is required. If you haven't already, please email your certificate to info@kwadsrus.org
Why is this required now, you ask? Please read our most recent post about this topic. - All pilot's aircrafts need to pass tech inspection before they can be used to race. For outdoor events, please prop off.
- Freestyle will not be tolerated! This is a controlled flying environment.
Aircraft Requirements
- Display your MAAC number, MAAC's phone number and website, somewhere in your aircraft. It can be done on the airframe, every battery or even the video antenna. See more info
- You must clearly mark your drones with their TC Drone Registry Number.
- Any LiPo sizes
- Any propellers sizes.
- 25mW VTX power max. To be tested during tech inspection.
- Failsafe properly configured (default BF). To be tested during tech inspection (propellers off please).
- Need to be capable of switching channels easily!
- Only analog or HDZero. DJI FPV and Walknail systems are no longer accepted.
- You must label each drone with your TC Drone Registry Number + MAAC membership Numbers
- Freestyle will not be tolerated! This is a controlled flying environment.
